BEAVER COUNTY. Pa. —
The teenager found guilty in juvenile court of shooting his father's pregnant fiancé will go before a judge for his first evaluation hearing next month.
The hearing is set to examine Jordan Brown's progress since entering juvenile rehabilitation.
An evaluation hearing will be held every six months and a judge could potentially order Brown's release at any of those hearings, court officials said.
The now 15-year-old's attorney told Channel 11 News that it is not likely he'll be released in November.
Brown was 11 years old when he was charged with shooting and killing Kenzi Houk, who was eight and a half months pregnant.
Brown was found guilty in April.
