MUNHALL, Pa. —
A former firefighter on Allegheny County’s most wanted list was arrested Monday night in Whitaker Borough, police said.Officials said Matthew Clark, 20, was on probation for setting a fire at his father’s house in Munhall two years ago.Clark was 18 when he confessed to setting the fire and then violated his probation and disappeared.Police said Clark set a garage on fire on Whitaker Way because he wanted to go on a fire call.Clark was suspended and thrown out of the Munhall fire department. He pleaded guilty to arson charges but didn’t report to his parole officer and landed on the most wanted list, police said.Clark is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
