Fayette County inmate escapes prison, found minutes later in underwear

FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. —

A Fayette County inmate is back in prison after police said he escaped Tuesday and was found minutes later wearing only underwear.

Investigators said David McFadden jumped out of a window at the Fayette County prison and ditched his uniform. Officers said they were able to catch him in a nearby parking lot ten minutes after his escape.

Police said McFadden was being detained in a fenced-in holding area and they think he removed an air conditioner to escape.
