A Fayette County man is facing charges after police said he pulled out a gun at a wedding reception and fired off a shot.
Investigators said the incident happened on Anderson Avenue in Dunbar Township over the weekend.
Officers said 21-year-old Richard Show III crashed a wedding reception at the house, pulled a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at two men. He’s then accused of firing off a round that hit the house.
“He pulled out a silver handgun. I don’t think it was any sort of celebratory thing. I think it was just not being in his right mind,” Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Stefanie Plume said.
The homeowner whose party Show crashed said he’s thankful no one was injured.
“Anyone could have been standing up there at the time,” the man said.
Show is facing several charges, including reckless endangerment and terroristic threats.
