Good Samaritan offers to replace Bridgeville woman’s stolen dentures

BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. —

A woman whose dentures were stolen earlier this week when thieves broke into her car in Bridgeville is getting help from a good Samaritan.

Kathy Saunoras’ car was one of about 20 broken into earlier this week in Bridgeville. The thieves ransacked the cars for various items, police said.

“The only thing they took out of my car was my teeth,” Saunoras said.

The story of her stolen dentures has made its way around the Pittsburgh area and a local businessman offered his assistance.

“A generous man has offered to be my benefactor and is willing to buy my new teeth,” Saunoras said.

The good Samaritan is Dana Divecchio. He said he hopes his generosity will help inspire others as well.

“It’s all relative, you know,” Divecchio said. “I’ve been blessed and just want to pay it forward every once in a while in life.”

“I really only hope that someone just takes the initiative and says, ‘Hey, here is somebody that needs help and I can help them,’” Divecchio added.

Saunoras will begin the process of replacing her dentures on Monday when she has a consultation scheduled with Aspen Dental.

“It really touches my heart,” Saunoras said. “He is doing a good deed and I believe in karma. Karma comes back to reward people and he’ll get it back two-fold.”
