MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. —
The Allegheny County Health Department issued a consumer alert for Rudy’s Grill in McKees Rocks on Tuesday.
Officials said the restaurant was cited for four critical violations, the most serious dealing with unsafe hot holding.
The inspector found food that should have been kept hot at room temperature. Hot food is supposed to be kept at 135 degrees or above.
The list of temperature violations includes pork loin, pork chops, brown gravy, Swiss steak, ham, mashed potatoes and green beans.
The inspector also found food that should be kept cold that was not in a refrigerator.
The restaurant was also cited for not having a certified manager present.
Rudy’s Grill remains open but has 10 days to fix the violations.
