The heat wave continues, as near record-breaking highs are expected Saturday. Meteorologist Mike LaPoint said temperatures will go into the upper 90s and the heat index will range from 100 to 104. The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory, which will be in effect until 8 p.m.
LaPoint said there's a chance of showers and thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail this evening.
