PITTSBURGH —

A high-rise fire on the North Shore forced people into the cold Friday night.

Officials said the fire happened along Mount Pleasant Road in Pittsburgh’s Northview Heights neighborhood.

According to officials, at least three floors were evacuated, and Port Authority buses were brought in to keep people warm.

Firefighters said the fire started on the eighth floor in a mattress.

No injuries were reported.
