A 17-year-old Massachusetts high school student said she’s being punished for doing the right thing.
Erin Cox said she picked up her friends from a drinking party and drove them home. Police busted the party for underage drinking, but Cox’s attorney said she didn’t have a sip of alcohol.
Cox’s school has removed her as the captain of the volleyball team and suspended her for five games.
The school has a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol, but Cox’s attorney said she was doing what other parents would want.
