BEAVER FALLS, Pa. —
A western Pennsylvania man has been arrested on a charge of criminal homicide in his wife's 1993 drowning death following a coroner's inquest in which a witness says he saw the man hold the woman under water with a long-handled pool skimmer.
Beaver County District Attorney Anthony Berosh and the Patterson Township police haven't commented on Monday's arrest of 54-year-old Jon Lang, of Industry.
The charges were filed following last week's coroner's inquest into the June 18, 1993 death of 34-year-old Debbie Lang.
Online court records don't list an attorney for Lang who faces a preliminary hearing Nov. 19.
The inquest was held after a new witness -- an overnight guest of the Langs who was just 16 at the time -- came forward this year and told police what he saw.
