Penguins star Evgeni Malkin is set to return to game action Monday night after missing the last four games with a concussion.
Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma told reporters after Monday’s morning skate that Malkin passed the necessary testing and will be in the lineup against Tampa Bay.
Malkin skated on a line Monday morning with James Neal and Matt Cooke.
Malkin was injured Feb. 22 on a hard collision into the boards during a win at home over Florida.
In Malkin’s absence, the Penguins went 2-2 but gave up 19 goals during those four games.
