WASHINGTON, Pa. —
A Washington County man accused of attacking his mother with a knife was arrested Tuesday morning.
Police were called to a home on South Wade Street in Washington about 1 a.m. Tuesday for the report of an assault.
Upon arriving at the home, a woman told officers that her son attacked her with a knife at a home on South College Street. The woman was stabbed several times in the face, neck and chest.
After a brief search, detectives found Nathaniel Brice a few blocks away and arrested him. Police said they believe Brice ran off with about $70 of his mother’s money and her phone.
Brice is facing several charges, including aggravated assault and robbery.
