SHARON, Pa. —
A man accused of attacking the Sharon High School football coach was held for court.Joe Koscinski had nothing to say as police escorted him in and out of court on Friday. His mother, father and family priest were there for support.Police said Koscinski forced his way into Jim Wildman's home and began assaulting Wildman.Investigators said Koscinski kicked in Wildman’s door and then choked and bit his ear and face.
Neighbors who saw Koscinski enter Wildman's home ran in to help.Wildman was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital and has been treated and released.“I have no structural damage. My throat hurts, my head hurts and I have a black eye,” Wildman said.
Investigators said Wildman may have coached Koscinski 20 years ago, but no motive has been determined.
