PITTSBURGH —

A man accused of using a stolen cellphone to threaten to blow up the Allegheny County Jail and PNC Park earlier this month faced a preliminary hearing Wednesday.

Investigators said Termaine Washington, 22, called in at least six bomb threats between Sept. 7 and Sept. 19.

According to police, detectives tracked the phone Washington used to an apartment and then set up a meeting with one of Washington’s friends in Market Square. Washington, who also goes by the name Termaine Green, was arrested without incident.

During an initial appearance Sept. 28, a judge ordered Washington to be held without bail until his preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
