VANDERGRIFT, Pa. —
A man awaiting trial on charges of vehicular homicide for an incident in 2012 has been charged with driving under the influence, Channel 11's Joe Holden reported.
Chad Fravel, of Apollo, was allegedly intoxicated when he struck and killed a man in April 2012.
Vandergrift Police told Channel 11 News that Fravel, who is out on bail, left a bar on Thursday and proceeded to blow through a stop sign. He was pulled over by the authorities, who smelled alcohol.
A test indicated that Fravel's blood alcohol content was .123, well above the legal limit of .08.
Fravel's trial on the 2012 charges is set for February.
