Man hit by car during East Pittsburgh police chase on run after leaving hospital

PITTSBURGH —

East Pittsburgh police are looking for a man who led them on a chase into Oakland.

Investigators said they pulled over Jermaine Titus along Route 30 Sunday afternoon but he quickly drove away.

After leading officers on a chase, police said Titus and a passenger got out of the vehicle on the Bates Street off-ramp.

Police said Titus was hit by a car and taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital but police said he walked out after being admitted.
