Neighbors are getting some credit for helping police catch two men accused of burglarizing a home in Brookline.
Police said a neighbor called 911 after noticing that a door of a home on Woodbourne Avenue appeared to be forced open.
When investigators arrived, officers found two men inside of the home. They also found tools and copper piping had been cut from the home.
Police said Joseph Assenat and Robert Vespa were arrested and charged with burglary, trespassing and resisting arrest.
Investigators said Assenat was arrested in June 2011 for burglarizing another home on the same street.
