New Castle twins jailed in theft of anti-anxiety med

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (AP) —

Twin sisters have been jailed in New Castle on charges they robbed their friend of anti-anxiety medication while discussing the recent death of another friend.

Heather and Hillary Ryhal, both 24 years old, remained in the Lawrence County Jail awaiting a preliminary hearing Thursday on robbery and other charges.

Police said the women were visiting a friend Friday evening to discuss where to spread their dead friend's cremated remains.

When one of the sisters asked for a drink of water, the victim heard a bottle of pills drop onto her bedroom floor and ran to confront one of the women. That's when police said the sisters overpowered the woman and ran away with a bottle of Xanax.
