As President Obama is scheduled to publicly announce his new measures for stemming gun violence, the National Rifle Association has stepped up their marketing campaign against the man they see as a threat to gun freedoms.
The NRA released a slickly-produced video Tuesday that accuses Obama of being an ‘elitist hypocrite’ because his children have armed guards while he seeks to keep armed guards away from children in public schools, which is a plan that the NRA rolled out one week after the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting in December.
“Are the president’s kids more important than yours?” the video asks.
“Mr. Obama demands the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes, but he’s just another elitist hypocrite when it comes to a fair share of security,” the video declares.
The video wraps with: “Protection for their kids and gun free zones for ours.”
