Boy, 12, hit by car in Lawrenceville

LAWRENCEVILLE, Pa. —

A 12-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after getting hit by a car Thursday afternoon in Lawrenceville.

According to 911 dispatchers, the accident was reported just before 5 p.m. on Butler Street.

Investigators said the boy apparently ran into the street.

He was taken to an area hospital with head and knee injuries. His condition has not been released.

Police have not said if the driver will face charges. The accident remains under investigation.
