Pittsburgh TV station upset over union negotiations

WILKINSBURG, Pa. —

News anchors and reporters who said they're not being treated fairly at another Pittsburgh television station got some support Thursday.

A group of community leaders delivered petition signatures and postcards from the public to WTAE management in Wilkinsburg.

The on-air staff voted for union representation 18 months ago, but there has been little progress in negotiations.

They are represented by the same union which represents on-air personalities here at Channel 11 News.
