The Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank settled a multi-million dollar lawsuit Wednesday for charging excessive overdraft fees.
Officials said PNC Bank agreed to pay $90 million for the settlement.
The bank was accused of improperly manipulating debit card transactions to generate more overdraft fee revenue.
Customers argued and said the excessive overdraft fees caused their account balances to fall faster.
