BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. —

Police are investigating after a Butler County home was broken into Thursday morning by three men who police said were wearing colored clown wigs.

Investigators said a man and woman who live inside the Peters Lane home were assaulted by the robbers.

According to police, one of the robbers hit the man on the head with a gun.

Detectives said the assailants are three white males, but they are not yet sure of the motive.
