GREENSBURG, Pa. —
A woman caused quite a commotion outside of a western Pennsylvania hospital after she was spotted with what looked like a gun.
It turned out to be an air pistol, but security officers at Excela Health Westmoreland didn't take any chances.
Police said that the woman was seen walking with the pistol behind her back. When officers approached, she began to run. A short foot pursuit took place before she was apprehended.
Once officers were able to get a closer look, they realized that the weapon was actually an air pistol.
The woman was taken to the police station and questioned, but she never gave a reason as to why she had the air pistol in the hospital parking lot.
Police charged her with disorderly conduct for alarming the public.
