CALIFORNIA, Pa. —
Authorities in Washington County were able to trace a burglary suspect from a home break-in because the suspect left his cellphone at the scene.
Police said Shawn Butler, of Greensburg, broke into a California home back in June, but dropped his phone at the house.
Detectives said they were able to trace Butler to the phone. He is now facing trespassing and disorderly conduct charges.
