Police chase ends with rollover crash in West Deer Township

WEST DEER TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

According to police, a man who was late for work Friday morning led police on a high-speed chase in Allegheny County before eventually crashing.

Authorities said the man was originally spotted speeding by officers on Route 910 at Cedar Ridge Road just before noon.

The officers attempted to pull the man over, but he didn’t stop. They eventually tried to stop him using spike strips, and the man’s car flipped over.

The man’s name and condition have not been released. He is currently in the custody of West Deer Township police.
