Police: Derry Twp. Mother made daughter wear recording device during visits with father
DERRY, Pa. —
A Derry Township mother is accused of using her daughter to spy on the child’s father.
According to police, Loretta Miller put a digital recording device under her daughter’s shirt and secretly recorded the child’s visits with her father.
According to Channel 11’s news exchange partners at TribLIVE, an employee with Comprehensive Counseling Assessment Service found the device on May 11. The counseling agency monitors monthly visitations of the child and the father, George Miller.
Miller admitted that the device was hers and asked for it back, the criminal affidavit said.
Miller, 44, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 12. She faces interception of communication charges.
