SQUIRREL HILL, Pa. —
Police responded to the report of a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon in Squirrel Hill.
Authorities said the First Niagara Bank on Murray Avenue was robbed about 3:30 p.m.
According to police, the suspect gave the teller a note that said, “GIVE ME THE MONEY.” The teller said he gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash.
Officials said the suspect put the money in a black duffle bag and ran toward the 2100 block of Murray Avenue.
Police said the suspect is described as a white male, about 200 pounds, between 30 and 40 years old. The man was wearing a heavy black jacket, blue jeans and an Atlanta Braves hat.
No injuries were reported.
