Police investigating vandalism to officers’ vehicles in Squirrel Hill

SQUIRREL HILL, Pa. —

Pittsburgh police are investigating a rash of vandalism to officers’ vehicles around the Zone 4 station in Squirrel Hill.

According to police, there have been about two dozen personal and official vehicles targeted since December along Northumberland Street and the side streets around the station.

Investigators said the vandal or vandals are spiking tires with screws or nails.

Detectives from the station are investigating. Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to contact police.
