NEW CASTLE, Pa. —

Police in Lawrence County said a burglar went to extreme measures to get inside of a New Castle bar for a bottle of beer.

Investigators said 23-year-old Corbin Partin was arrested after he was caught inside of the 26 Bar and Grill on East Washington Street.

When police arrived, officers said they found Partin holding a beer inside of his sweatshirt.

Police said Partin used an Access card to jam the door and then kicked a hole through a wall to get to the bar area.

"It was amazing that someone would go through this to get a couple of beers out of the bar," said owner Denny Flora.

Partin faces burglary and public drunkenness charges. He remains in the Lawrence County Jail.
