BELLEVUE, Pa. —
Authorities arrested a woman and are looking for a man accused of breaking into several cars over the weekend in Allegheny County.
According to police, William Longo and Chrissy Lynn Kiger are accused in a series of car break-ins from Thursday to Sunday in the Bellevue area.
Officials said the break-ins involved unlocked cars parked on Laurel, Sheraden and South Bryant streets.
Kiger was taken into police custody Tuesday, but Longo, 34, remains at large.
Investigators said they were able to identify Longo and Kiger in surveillance video using a stolen credit card at Target and Kohl’s on McKnight Road.
Police said they tried to but thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and electronics.
“I can’t thank them enough,” Christine Madsen said about police finding her purse that was stolen from her car. “I forgive them, but I hope they get what they deserve.”
Anyone with information on Longo’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
