SEWICKLEY HILLS, Pa. —
Three suspects accused of stealing jewelry from a Sewickley Hills party in July appeared in court Tuesday.
According to police, valuable jewelry, including rings, necklaces and earrings, were stolen from a woman whose son was hosting a party.
Investigators said they were able to trace the suspects because they tried to sell the jewelry at stores in Beaver Falls and Boardman, Ohio.
Police said surveillance video shows the men and woman trying to sell one of the rings valued at more than $3,000
Lauson Cashdollar, the suspects’ attorney, said his clients are sorry, and they’re kids who have learned the lesson.
“They’re going to do some counseling and restitution. They’ll also pay some fines,” Cashdollar said.
The three suspects are due back in court in November.
