Prosecutors: 2 more allege abuse at Beaver County day care
BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. (AP) —
Prosecutors say more accusers have come forward claiming they were touched inappropriately by an elderly worker at a family-run day care center in western Pennsylvania.
Eighty-one-year-old Clarence Bryan is already accused of kissing a young girl at the day care center run out of the basement of his Chippewa, Beaver County home.
Bryan had been scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday but that was postponed after prosecutors said two more accusers have come forward. He was initially charged last month after a now-15-year-old girl said Bryan had kissed her on the mouth and neck between 2002 and 2003.
No new charges have been filed.
A phone message with Bryan's attorney wasn't immediately returned Thursday.
