There was no doubt Paul was referring to Sen. John McCain.

McCain called Paul and his followers “wacko birds” after the Senator’s 13-hour filibuster of John Brennan’s confirmation as director at the CIA. Paul was also upset with the lack of an assurance from the adminstration over the use of drones on American citizens.

Speaking at CPAC Paul said “we prize our Bill of Rights like no other country. Our Bill of Rights what defines us; it’s what makes us exceptional.

Paul went on “to those who would dismiss this debate as frivolous, I say tell that to the heroic men and women who sacrificed their limbs and lives. Tell that to the 6,000 parents of kids who died as American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tell them the Bill of Rights is no big deal.”
