WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. —
The president of a restaurant company in Westmoreland County is accused of tax evasion.
According to Channel 11’s news exchange partners at TribLIVE, Jeanean Smith will plead guilty to filing a fraudulent tax return.
Investigators said in 2008, Smith claimed she and her then-husband earned $19,000 when they actually earned more than $270,000.
Smith is the president of the Jioio’s Restaurants. Her former husband hasn’t been charged.
