Investigators looking for North Shore bank robber

NORTH SHORE, Pa. —

Police are looking for the man who robbed a North Shore bank late Friday morning.

Officials said the First National Bank on Federal Street was robbed by a man in his 50s just before 11 a.m. Friday.

Channel 11's Alan Jennings learned police had a man in custody fitting the description of the robber, but it was not him.

The robber is a white man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. Officials said he was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a baseball hat.

Authorities have not said how much, if any, money the robber got away with.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact police.
