A small landslide forced crews to shut down Mount Washington's McArdle Roadway Thursday morning.
The area of the road from the Liberty Bridge to Grandview Avenue was closed while Pittsburgh Public Works crews cleared debris.
Linda Tirio said she usually uses McArdle Roadway to get to work. On Thursday she had to walk down the hillside to get where she needed to go.
"You can't get upset because if they close it down permanently we would really be in trouble. A little inconvenience doesn't hurt anybody," Tirio said.
The roadway reopened around 10:30 a.m.
