South Side senior center reopens after year-long renovations

PITTSBURGH —

A popular senior center reopened in the Pittsburgh's South Side on Monday.

The historic South Side Market House was closed for more than a year while Public Works crews made repairs to the structure.

The first floor of the center reopened to seniors on Monday.

City officials said renovations were completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
