PITTSBURGH —

Troy Polamalu and James Harrison did not practice on Friday and it doesn't sound or look good for Sunday's game against the Jets.

James Harrison will miss his 2nd straight game, reported Channel 11's Rich Walsh. Chris Carter will get the start at right outside linebacker.

Harrison told Walsh that when he feels good he will play.

As for Polamalu, the former defensive player of the year did not rule himself out of Sunday's game, but all signs are pointing to Polamalu missing his first game of the season.

Troy told Walsh the decision is up to coach Mike Tomlin.
