'Missing' student found sleeping in closet at Shaler Elementary

GLENSHAW, Pa. -- Investigators said a student they thought went missing from Shaler Elementary School on Scott Avenue in Glenshaw on Wednesday, was found sleeping in a school's closet.

Police said 12-year-old Trinity O'Dell went missing around 11 a.m.

The Shaler Area School District superintendent said the student was supposed to go somewhere in the building, but never showed up.

The superintendent said that's when school officials tried locating the student, but couldn't find her. The school was placed on lockdown for about an hour while police looked for the girl.

The student was later found sleeping in a closet.
