Suspect accused of slashing man’s throat in New Castle arrested

NEW CASTLE, Pa. —

Police arrested a man accused of slashing another man’s throat Friday afternoon in New Castle.

According to Lawrence County 911 dispatchers, a man was rushed to Jameson Hospital after another man slashed his throat about 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said another person was also injured in the incident and taken to Jameson Hospital. Neither of their names or conditions have been released.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the New Castle Police Department to be questioned.

No other information about the incident has been released.
