Teenager identified in Red Creek drowning

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. —

A 17-year-old boy who drowned in a Clarion County creek Saturday has been identified.

Authorities said Brandon Fuller of East Liberty died when he and several of his friends were swimming in Red Bank Creek at Gumtown Park.

According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, friends said Fuller did not know how to swim well  and they were swimming above a local dam before  he drowned.

Firefighters said he was not breathing when they recovered his body.
