Wednesday will remain cold but there is relief in sight. Severe Weather Team meteorologist Valerie Smock said temps should hit the double digits today and get even higher for Thursday.
The high Wednesday will be 12 degrees, with wind chills ranging from minus 20 to zero. Tonight’s low will be 5 degrees with wind chills at minus 10.
Thursday will reach 29 degrees, but keep in mind wind chills could still get as low as minus 10 early in the day.
Snow showers will move into the area Friday, with rain and snow expected Saturday.
