Tulsa Police have made a third arrest in Monday afternoon’s fake bomb scare in downtown Tulsa.
Logan Sours is the third arrest in the case, Nathan Howe and Daniel Nix were arrested last night and bonded out early Tuesday morning..
It all began yesterday when two men approached people in downtown Tulsa and handed them a bag with what looked like a bomb in it. The bag contained pipes and wires but no real bomb but was still enough to frighten those who were involved.
Tulsa police told KRMG news they think the men were trying to make a social media video to see how unsuspecting people would react in the situation.
Nix’s Facebook page shows a series of postings in which he talks about finding a prank to pull.
From Nix’s page yesterday afternoon “Call me asap . Downtown prank video need someone to help.
That was preceded by this question “What kinda prank video do you want to see?
When the question went up one of the responses was “How about this:: Ask someone to hold this bag for you (put what ever in it )and then RUN like heck.but someone would have to be close by to tell them it was a prank before they called the police .LOL”
