Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday at his weekly press conference that no one will flip into the end zone again like Emmanuel Sanders did on Sunday.
When Sanders caught his 55-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger during Sunday’s 19-6 victory over the New York Jets, he front-flipped into the end zone as part of his celebration.
Tomlin said Tuesday that the flip wasn’t smart because he could have been injured doing it.
“It’s a potential for injury and it’s silly,” Tomlin said.
The Steelers' next game is Sunday at Heinz Field against the Baltimore Ravens.
