A Volusia County tow company owner was arrested after cops say he and his employee stripped a car in his own lot.

Sources at the Volusia County Sheriff's Office say a woman's Ford Mustang was towed to AA Accurate in Ormond Beach following an accident.

That's when the owner and his employee allegedly tore the car apart, stealing anything that came loose.

“The speedometer cluster, stereo and speakers, taillights, and mirrors. All of it was gone," said Department Spokesman Brandon Haught.

When the woman came back for her car she called the cops.

64 year old James Pascarelli and 52 year old Kirk Luckett initially denied the theft but eventually came clean.

They were arrested on charges of principle to grand theft and knowingly giving false information to a law enforcement officer.
