On Tuesday, toy-store giant Toys R Us released its annual list of what are expected to be the hottest toys for the upcoming holiday season. A familiar name is once again at the top of the list.
This year “Let’s Rock” Elmo is expected to be the hottest toy of the holiday season. The toy was released Tuesday and will cost about $60. Elmo rocks to the beat, inspiring children to get up and get moving.
Figit Friends are also expected to be a big seller this year. Figit friends are interactive toys equipped with voice recognition and their own individual personality traits. They’re priced between $45 and $50.
The third hot toy listed is Nerf's Vortex Vigilon. The disc blaster is priced between $15 and $20.
Finally on this year’s list, experts named the Leappad’s Explorer. The learning tablet is designed for children ages 4 to 9. It comes with a camera and video recorder. Explorers will cost about $100.
