Trail of blood leads police to shooting victim in Mount Oliver

MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. —

Police said they followed a trail of blood to a shooting victim in Mount Oliver Tuesday night.

Officers said they were first called to the intersection of Cathedral Avenue and Gorgas Street for reports of a crash. Police said when they arrived, no one was inside of the crashed van.

Investigators said they followed the blood trail and found the victim on Ormsby Avenue.

Police did not say if the victim was inside of the van when it crashed.

The victim's name and condition have not been released.
