Trio arrested in Pittsburgh law firm hacking

PITTSBURGH —

Three people from Pittsburgh are accused of hacking into a computer system at a local law firm to access financial information.

The Department of Justice said Matthew West, Jonathan Cunningham and Alyson Cunningham installed software on the firm's network last November after Alyson Cunningham was fired from working there.

Investigators said the software allowed them to capture people's passwords and access their financial information.

The three have been released from jail on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
