AVONMORE, Pa. —
Authorities are investigating the report of a bizarre home break-in in Avonmore.
According to police, a homeowner told detectives that he came home from vacation and found out someone had broken into his home, used several of his items inside the home and stole three guns.
Investigators said the man told them sometime between Aug. 8 and Tuesday, someone broke into his Indiana Avenue home.
The man told police the intruder went into his bedroom and found keys to two gun safes. Three guns are now missing.
The homeowner also said the intruder drove his car, cooked food, cut whiskers off his cat, played his Xbox and took a shower.
The man told police he thinks the intruder gained access to his house by prying open a sliding glass door.
No arrests have been made and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
